Houser Audio introduced the Audio Visual Ministries Association (AVMA) especially to educate and support AV Ministry technicians. Having several religious organizations as Houser Audio clients, it became apparent that there was a need for a better overall sound experience in most Houses of Worship: the need for better sound clarity; the need to understand how to use and optimize equipment; the need to eliminate “hums” and feedback (which seems to be an accepted “norm” for many parishioners); and the need to understand how to increase sound volume without increasing the “noise”.
AVMA Instructors have worked with numerous international legends and entertainers around the globe and from various genres. Their range of experience also includes work with major television networks, broadcasting both live and recorded programs, CD and DVD recordings for major labels, and production of high profile awards shows and private events. In AVMA's exclusive classroom style setting, AVMA instructors share this professional knowledge and experience, teaching with an easy-to-understand approach to sound and lights. AVMA's “plain talk” way of teaching renders assistance and easy-to-follow techniques and tips to the industry novice and experienced technician alike. Join AVMA and participate in our interactive learning, problem solving, and hands on experiments!
